"Bentelog" business for Mothers in Albay, Philippines

A new business called “Bentelog” for our mothers in this community.
Bentelog stands for, “bente” that means twenty (20), and “‘log” that is the short cut for “itlog”, which means egg. Bentelog therefore is a meal with egg and rice with a variant of the customer’s choice. Each meal only costs 20Php. They serve the high school students.

Livelihood Program for the Youth and Mothers in Albay, Philippines

San Francisco, Guinobatan. We provided business opportunities for the mothers through some products from breakroad35: health coffee, sanitary napkins (negative ions), and other products.

We also taught these young people to start their own business too by preparing snacks like pizzaroll and graham balls.

Nairobi, Kenya: Shammah Orphanage

An orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya was in need of a sanitary way to store water because there is no running water at their location.  They take care of 33 children, mostly orphaned by civil unrest over the past several years.  The orphanage was storing water in makeshift tubs and containers which were left out in the open.

This method of water storage is unsanitary and even dangerously open to contamination

The KOOSJ arranged for the purchase and installation of a 500 gallon water tank
to solve their problem of sanitary water storage.

Central Visayas Philippines- School supplies, medicines, and foods for the child laborers

We were given the chance to reach out to the Cebu Child laborers again in the Philippines. We provided school supplies, some medicines and food. We also bought some of their souvenir items to help them with their income for that day. Most of the kids were suffering from chicken pox during this visit and they are living in the street. It's quite hard but they have this contagious positivity that has blessed our missionaries. The Lord bless them!

Happy resilient kids

Mothers who have unwavering faith in God in spite of the challenges.

Our Bible Lessons down the street of Cebu

They were grateful of the school supplies that they
will use for the new school year, yes they are going to school!

one the kids who had chicken pox

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
(Psalms 127:3-5 ESV)
