The Knights of the Orthdox Order of St. John Russian Grand Priory carries on a nearly 1000 year tradition of service to Humanity. Its traditions extend back to 1048 with the Knights Hospitaller of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem which started the first hospitals during the crusades to take care of the sick and injured regardless of race, creed or ability to pay.

Marginalized Kids in Nankan, Sagaing, Myanmar
KOOSJ asian missionaries spent their Christmas in a small village in Nankan, Sagaing, Myanmar. These kids were provided with small gifts and foods during Christmas. Their simple appreciation of things is such a blessing! It was a joy to be able to minister with these pure-hearted kids and youth. Let us continuously pray for them to strive harder in life and create dreams for themselves even though they are living in the middle of mountains.

Life Orphanage, Yangon Myanmar
Life Orphanage in Yangon, Myanmar was founded by a local Christian pastor and his wife. They do not have any support from any organization. The pastor works as professor in some Bible schools in Yangon to provide the needs of these children.
During KOOSJ's visit in this orphanage, we have provided oil, rice, noodles, and other food supplies to cover their needs for the next three or four months. Let us continuously pray for this ministry and their kids' future.

Rohingya, Bangladesh
KOOSJ provided foods, blankets and Christmas gifts to the Rohingyans in Bangladesh. We pray to provide more in the future as the needs continuously rise in this part of South Asia because of the persecution and ethnical cleansing that is currently happening in Myanmar.

Nairobi Kenya, Zion Children's Home
The Knights OOSJ sent a mission to Kenya to help provide food for this small orphanage that was running out of food. The children are there because they were orphaned by the political unrest that has caused factional fighting since 2008 in Kenya.
