Continued Support to African Orphanage: Estel Children's Home, Kenya

 

On November 16, 2021, we visited Estel Children's Home after we had 

they had been given an eviction notice over rent arrears. The Orphanage 

is managed by the Founder Esther Waweru. Estel has a total of 55 Children, 

if which 55 of them are in High School 

and the rest are in Primary school 

and Kindergarten.

The Orphanage is located in an area 

called Kayole, in Nairobi City.

On this occasion, Mrs. Waweru 

requested us to purchase Foodstuffs 

for them. And so we bought, Rice, 

Maize flour, Wheat flour, Toilet rolls 

and Sugar.

 

The Orphanage had been given an 

eviction notice over accumulated 

rent arrears and so all the funds that 

the Orphanage was receiving were going towards rent. 

This meant a shortage of foodstuffs for the Home. They were grateful we came through.

KOOSJ Provided Chairs and Tables For Students in a Learning Center in Cambodia

 This ministry of our team in Cambodia reaches out to the marginalized kids in Cambodia and provide them free English learning program. It is our joy to be instruments to the provision of these tables and chairs for them by God's grace.

Happy Kids at Bethsaida Children’s Home

In October, our Missionary, Ephraim visited Bethsaida Children's home once again. The Orphanage is home to 33 children, mostly below the age of 12. The kids are orphans, abandoned and and rescued from the streets. The Orphanage is managed by Juliah Hika, who also happens to be a Preacher.

 

At this time, the Orphanage wanted us to help them construct a firewood store, because the greatly needed a firewood shelter since their firewood used to get rained on outside.  We did this using second hand iron sheets. We also bought them firewood materials. We hired a cart to deliver the goods since it's just nearby at the shopping center.

Supporting Students in the Philippines as Classes Open Again

 We provided school supplies along with the weekly feeding program for the marginalized kids in Bicol Philippines. They were very excited for their new stuff.

Reaching Out to the Ati Tribe in the Philippines

Through the help of the local social welfare office, we were able to serve an indigenous group in Albay Philippines called the Ati Tribe. They came from another island coming to this region through a number of boats some years ago. Virtually all these kids are undocumented, hence it will be very hard for them to get to school and get their jobs in the future. We are hoping to continuously help them. Last week, we were able to provide foods and gifts to them.

Each of the 45 Ati Kids receive their food packs.
