The Knights of the Orthdox Order of St. John Russian Grand Priory carries on a nearly 1000 year tradition of service to Humanity. Its traditions extend back to 1048 with the Knights Hospitaller of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem which started the first hospitals during the crusades to take care of the sick and injured regardless of race, creed or ability to pay.
Our team walked around Legazpi City and Daraga Albay to serve the homeless people and street kids. Their reactions were priceless especially when they get their food, which happened to be their first for the day or even for a long time. God is good. It was a joy to be serving them in the name of the Lord, who sustains all our needs.
It was shopping time for the seniors and young people in Albay. They were able to enjoy their new clothes and bags to startup this year.
